Shawn Gramlich is currently serving his third term on Town Council, driven by a strong commitment to community progress and collaboration. Professionally, Shawn works with Total Oilfield Rentals, focusing on business development along with Indigenous and government relations, roles that allow him to build meaningful partnerships and support responsible growth. He recently became part-owner of Water Pure and Simple alongside his childhood best friend, expanding his involvement in local business and community sustainability.

Charitable work is vital to Shawn, and he founded Ice Breaker Hockey as a way to give back and bring people together through sport and community spirit. The initiative reflects his belief that positive change happens when people come together with purpose, energy, and generosity. In recognition of his community service, Shawn was honoured with the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal, a provincial award recognising Albertans who have made significant contributions to their community and province.

Above all, Shawn is a devoted family man, inspired every day by his wife and two daughters. Their support and encouragement played a major role in his decision to run for a third term on council. Shawn’s family is deeply engaged in the community, and their shared belief in public service motivates him to work toward a stronger, more vibrant town for future generations. When he’s not working or serving on council, Shawn enjoys spending quality time with his family and cheering on the Edmonton Oilers as a lifelong fan
