Seniors Services
FCSS offers senior programs funded through a partnership between the Town of Slave Lake and the Province of Alberta. This partnership, along with the support of our dedicated volunteers, enables us to offer numerous programs for all seniors in need of assistance; all of our services are either volunteer-driven, referral-based, or income-based. We help all seniors in our community live in a safe and supportive manner.
Home Support:
This program is designed for seniors aged 65 and above who choose to remain in their own homes and maintain their independence. We serve in town limits only with a variety of tasks, such as:
- Light house cleaning & laundry services
- Provide companionship
- In-house spring and fall cleaning
- The cost of this service is income-based; financial support is available through the Special Needs Program *ask what this is. Is there a link for the services offered* link for program* to help offset the cost of this service
