The Town of Slave Lake is proud to officially recognize Seniors' Week 2025 with a declaration passed by Council during the week of May 19.
From June 2–8, we join communities across Alberta in celebrating the incredible contributions of seniors to our families, community, and province.
To all of our elders—thank you for your wisdom, leadership, and lifelong dedication. Your strength, stories, and service are valued beyond words.
Local events and activities are happening, such as a pancake breakfast and BBQ throughout the week in honour of our seniors!
Let’s come together to show our appreciation and support for the individuals who helped shape our community.
