Slave Lake RCMP make arrest for stolen vehicle
Slave Lake, Alta. – On Oct. 5, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Slave Lake RCMP were making routine patrols when they observed a stolen vehicle. Members attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver continued. At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers observed the vehicle again, and a tire deflation device was set up, which successfully disabled the vehicle. The driver then fled the scene on foot but was located and arrested shortly after.
Raevyn Coulson, a 31-year-old resident of Calgary, has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Flight from peace officer
- Failure to comply with release order x2
Coulson was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody. She is scheduled to appear on Oct. 9, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Slave Lake.
