PUBLIC HEARING
January 24, 2023 @ 7:00 P.M. IN TOWN COUNCIL CHAMBERS
BYLAW #17-2022 (Amend the Land Use Bylaw #22-2007)
Town Council is giving consideration to amending Land Use Bylaw #22-2007.
Amending Bylaw #17-2022 proposes amendments to Section 87 (3) by adding Self Storage Facility as a discretionary use to the C1 – Downtown Commercial Mixed-Use District.
"Self Storage Facility" means a use where goods are stored in a building where the building is made up of separate compartments and each compartment has separate access; and may be available to the general public for the storage of personal items and may include the administrative functions associated with the business and may incorporate custodial quarters for the custodian of the facility.
If you or any group of citizens either support or are opposed to this proposed amendment, please deliver a letter to the Town Office no later than January 18, 2023, or verbally make a presentation at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
