Slave Lake RCMP makes an arrest after a break and enter
Slave Lake, Alta. – On Nov. 2, 2025, Slave Lake RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at a local business. RCMP arrived on scene and the suspect fled, resulting in a foot chase and, ultimately, the arrest of the suspect.
As a result of the investigation, Melvin Noskiye (32), a resident of Wabasca, Alta., was charged with break and enter and fail to comply with court order. Noskiye was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. He is to appear before the Alberta Court of Justice on Nov. 12, 2025.
“We understand that property crime is a big concern for the members of our community,” said S/Sgt. Casey Bruyns, Detachment Commander of the Slave Lake RCMP. “This is why we are committed to doing everything we can to alleviate those concerns and arrest those responsible.”
