The Town of Slave Lake Planning Department is currently engaging in a project to determine how to manage Short-Term Rental properties within the community. As part of the regulation development process, we will be engaging and speaking with a variety of stakeholders within the community. We have several ways we are planning to do this: interviews, online surveys for community members, discussions with stakeholder groups and open house formats for everyone to take part.
As part of the first phase, we are conducting an online survey through Engage Slave Lake Portal to better understand general views of our ratepayers on STRs and what they would like the Town to consider during regulation development.
