[ARCHIVED] Public Notice of Potential Sale & Closure of Town Walkway

PUBLIC NOTICE

During the June 7, 2022, Council meeting, Council was asked to consider the closure and sale of a Town walkway (see map below).

Before Council considers this request, they would like to notify the public to determine if there is an objection to this request, and to determine if there is anyone else in the neighbourhood who is also interested in purchasing the walkway.

Please contact Laurie Skrynyk at 849-8019 or Samantha Dyck at 849-8004 and advise if you are opposed or not to the closing and selling of this walkway. If you are opposed, please provide reasons. If you are not opposed and are also interested in the acquisition of the walkway, please advise. Please also feel free to email your response to Planning@slavelake.ca or send a written submission by mail or deliver to:

The Town will receive letter, calls, and emails on this matter until 4:30 pm, September 6, 2022, after which time Administration will report back to Council with the results.
