The Town of Slave Lake has posted a Request for Tender for 3rd St SW Road Rehabilitation Project. The work involves the following:
- Remove and Replace Existing 150 mm D.I. watermain with 150 mm and 300 mm PVC watermain via vertical trench excavation in an urban roadway.
- Supply and install 300 mm PVC watermain via vertical trench excavation in an urban roadway.
- Cased auger bore underneath CN railway crossing for watermain installation.
- Tie-in to existing operational watermains at various locations.
- Remove and Replace water services.
- Spot repairs of existing sanitary service connections at the sewer main where identified by the Engineer.
- 2022 surface restoration including asphalt paving to restore trench excavation, deep base repairs, landscaping, and concrete replacement.
- 2023 surface restoration including full depth asphalt removal and paving.
- Coordination with and protection of existing utilities including, but not limited to, power, communication, and gas.
