Recycling Campaign Ad

News and Updates - Council Posted on November 14, 2024

The Town of Slave Lake wants to remind residents where to dispose of recyclable materials to divert them from our regional landfill.

Contamination is the biggest issue impacting successful recycling practices today when people throw in items they shouldn’t, such as grease-soaked cardboard, plastic bags, or paint cans.

For more information or to view the recycling/garbage pickup schedule, please visit the town of Slave Lake website at https://ab-slavelake.civicplus.com/calendar.aspx?CID=43 or call GFL at 780-49-3334.

For additional information on not leaving recyclables in the dumpster, please click the link: https://www.slavelake.ca/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=2112.
