2021 has been an exciting year for Economic Development within the Town of Slave Lake. In the past 6 months alone, 21 businesses have either opened or expanded just within the townsite itself. Research and discussions towards renewable energy, such as hydrogen and geothermal, have been regularly occurring. Along with business opportunities, Downtown Revitalization and events are being planned to help benefit community growth.
