Slave Lake RCMP Investigate a Collision

Slave Lake RCMP News Release - Winter

Slave Lake, Alta. -  The Slave Lake RCMP were called to kilometer 40 of Highway 754 due to a single vehicle collision involving a pick up truck.

Members of the Slave Lake RCMP and Desmarais RCMP detachment responded to the scene and located the pick up truck and two occupants. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to a Hospital in Edmonton. Emergency crews located the passenger of the vehicle who was deceased on scene. There were several witnesses to the collision and the driver of the vehicle was charged under the Use of Highway and Rules of the Road Regulation.

Traffic was re-routed to allow for the investigation to continue. Traffic was allowed to continue on Highway 754 in the early morning hours of January 25th
