Town Council is considering amending the Municipal Land Use Plan Map of the Municipal Development Plan by re-designating as follows: Lot N, Plan 4853 KS located at 112 / 132 – 6 Avenue SE from Regional Commercial to Downtown
If you or any group of citizens either support or are opposed to this proposed amendment, please deliver a letter to the Town Office no later than January 14, 2021 or verbally make a presentation at the Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
Due to AHS COVID-19 rules for social distancing, we must limit the number of people in Council Chambers and the Town Office Lobby. Should you arrive and the building be at capacity, you may be asked to wait outside the building. Every effort will be made to allow people to wait either in Council Chambers or the Town Office Lobby however, this is again dependent on number of people and social distancing rules. Administration will be coordinating the rotation of people who wish to speak at the meeting. Please note that while seating is very limited within Council Chambers, the meeting will be broadcast on the lobby television so that all can hear what has been said. That said, should you be required to wait outside, the Council Meeting is available to be viewed on YouTube on a mobile device. The password to the public Wi-Fi will be posted on the outside doors just before the meeting, so that data charges will not apply.
