Slave Lake RCMP Weekly Update – June 14th to June 20th, 2020

RCMP News Release (Summer)

Slave Lake, AB – During the week of June 14th– 20th the Slave Lake RCMP received ninety two (92) calls to service.  Of these calls, thefts, mischiefs, and municipal bylaws were the most prevalent.  The following are a sample of some of these calls:

June 18th, 2020 – Impaired Individual

The RCMP received two report of an intoxicated male passed out in the area of the Northern Lakes College. The male was transported to the Slave Lake Hospital to get treatment.

June 20th, 2020 - Mischief

The RCMP received a report of an impaired female inside a residence damaging the property. Members attended and removed the female from the home. The owner of the property declined to proceed with charges. 

June 19th, 2020 - Impaired Individual

The RCMP received a call for an intoxicated male passed out in the area of one of the hotels in town. The Members responded and the individual was able to care for himself. He was given a courtesy ride home.  

June 20th, 2020 - Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle

The RCMP received a report from Conversation Officers that a single vehicle collision occurred in the area of Slave Lake. Members attended and located the driver of the vehicle. An impaired investigation resulted in the driver being impaired over the legal limit and was released on court documents.
