COVID-19 Facility Measures

With the recent changes announced December 8, 2020 by the Government of Alberta, the Town of Slave Lake will be adjusting operations to meet the new measures mandated by the Province.

o The Town of Slave Lake Offices hours will remain at the current level. Open to the public from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please be aware that Staff available on-site will be reduced and some processes may take longer to complete.
o Effective December 13, 2020 the MRC will be closed to the public.
o The Legacy Centre will remain closed to the public with the exception of the Daycare and WJS still operating.
o The Northern Lights Aquatic Centre will remain closed to the public.
o There will be No Public Access to Town of Slave Lake Maintenance Shops or the Fire Hall for the duration of these measures.
o Pursuant to the Public Health Orders issued by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, outdoor group physical activity, including team sports, must be limited to 10 people or fewer and from the same household. Members of different households must maintain 2 metre distancing at all times. This applies to all of the Town’s outdoor facilities like trails, sledding hills, playgrounds, the skate park, and skating rinks.
o Please feel free enjoy the Town’s outdoor spaces while continuing to observe these rules.
