Seniors Services
Background:
Seniors programs offered by FCSS which are funded through a partnership between the Town of Slave Lake and the Province of Alberta. This partnership, along with support from our tremendous volunteers allows us to provide many programs for all seniors in need of help; all of our services are either volunteer, referral, or income based. We help all seniors in our community live a safe and supportive manner.
Home Support:
This program is designed for those seniors who are 55+, and chose to remain in their own homes and have their own independence. We serve in town limits only with a variety of tasks such as:
- Light house cleaning & laundry services
- Provide companionship
- In house spring and fall cleaning
- The cost of this service is income based, financial supports are available through the Special Needs Program to help offset the cost of this service
