At the Regular Meeting of Council on August 22, 2023, Council voted in favour of changing the Traffic Bylaw. The following is a summary of the changes:
- School Zones will be in effect from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on school days only.
- Playground zones are unchanged, in effect from 8:00 AM - 1 hour after sunset.
- The non-posted speed has changed from 50 km/h to 40 km/h.
- Streets with posted speed limits remain the same.

All signs will be updated over the next few weeks. Bylaw and Enforcement Services will be taking an education first approach during this initial transition phase.
