Does the Legacy Centre have internet access?
Yes, the Legacy Centre has access to internet for clients and guests.
Can we take our Wedding photos at the Legacy Centre?
We allow our clients to use the Legacy Centre for Wedding photography (or other event photography) please contact the Bookings Coordinator about availability and booking a time.
Is there an Event coordinator?
The Bookings Coordinator will work closely with you or with your event designate to ensure all the little details fall into place.
What's the maximum number of guests you can accommodate?
This depends on the provided seating plan, the Legacy Centre can seat 300 people with rectangular tables and chairs comfortably. Standing capacity is 600 and Theatre seating capacity is 495.
What are the Rental rates? And what does that include?
Our facility rates can be found on the Legacy Centre Rates page. For more information on what these include please call 780-849-8028.
Is there a space for me to get ready?
We have “green rooms” available - these are included with the rental of the Elks Hall.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
The Elks Club of Slave Lake hold the liquor license for the building, outside alcohol is not permitted.
Are there any areas we won't have access to?
Your rental contract will state what areas inside the Legacy Centre you have access to, we are a multi tenant building. Some areas may be restricted.
Will our guests have to pay to park?
There is no charge for parking at the Legacy Centre. However parking is subject to availability. Please check with the Bookings Coordinator.
Is the Legacy Centre handicap accessible?
Yes, the Legacy Centre is handicap accessible and Service Animals are welcome.
Are we allowed to bring in decorations?
Yes, we allow decorations at the Legacy Centre. There may be some restrictions to certain decorations that are explained in the Terms of Agreement - please inquire with the Bookings Coordinator.
