Slave Lake RCMP lay charges in Fas Gas break and enter

RCMP NEWS RELEASE

Slave Lake, Alta - On March 20, 2019 suspects broke into the Fas Gas service station on Main Street in Slave Lake.  Suspects entered the business by drilling a hole in the roof.  While in the building the suspects stole money from the ATM along with cigarettes and lottery tickets.  During the course of the investigation it was determined that this incident was related to similar break and enters across the province.

On April 25, 2019 one of the involved suspects was arrested in Leduc, Alberta.  Bruce Larter (52) of Leduc has been charged with break and enter.  He has been released from custody following a bail hearing with a court date of May 29, 2019 in Slave Lake Provincial Court.  However, the accused remains in custody on other matters before the courts.

Investigation into this occurrence continues.
