RCMP Continue to Investigate Two Commercial Break-ins

Slave Lake, AB - The Slave Lake RCMP are currently investigating two break and enter occurrences that took place at local businesses.  The first report came from Appara Shoes on Main Street. Suspects gained entry to the store by forcing their way into a rear door.  Various items included men's shoes and clothes were taken.  Suspects also vandalised the store. 

 

Later in the night, Fas Gas on Main Street was broken into.  In this occurrence suspects gained entry by boring a hole through the roof.  Once inside, suspects stole money from an ATM machine. 

 

Investigators have not yet confirmed that these two occurrences are related.

 

Investigation has identified two vehicles of interest for both of the occurrences.  The vehicles are described as follows:

 

Vehicle 1

Dark colored GMC Sierra with a lifted suspension and large tires.  The GMC has chrome running boards.

 

Vehicle 2

Black Ford F350 with a lifted suspension.  The tires are oversized and extended beyond the fenders.  The Ford has a soft tonneau cover of its box, chrome running boards and black rims.
