Slave Lake, Alta. - The Slave Lake RCMP detachment will be resuming in-person services at the Slave Lake RCMP Detachment on July 13, 2020. Since the on-set of the Covid-19 pandemic and implementation of public safety protocols, services at the detachment have been limited. Beginning July 13, members of the public may attend the detachment for services such as criminal record checks, fingerprinting or to lodge a complaint.
Although the detachment will be open, members of the public are encouraged to call the detachment (780-849-3999) during regular office hours (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) to see if their matter can be dealt with remotely. Additionally, those requiring fingerprinting will be asked to book an appointment by calling the detachment beforehand.
Any members of the public attending the detachment are asked to bring a face covering in the event close face-to-face contact with a member of the RCMP is required (ie: fingerprinting). The detachment has implemented protocols to allow for social distancing within the facility in an effort to protect the public and employees.
