NOTICE ELECTION AND REQUIREMENTS 
FOR VOTER IDENTIFICATION 
Local Jurisdiction: Town of Slave Lake, Province of Alberta 
Notice is hereby given that an election will be held for the filling
of the following offices:

Office: Councillor 
Number of Vacancies: 1
Ward or Electoral Division: At Large 

Voting will take place on the 1st Day of March, 2017 between the hours of 10:00 am and 8:00 PM. Voting stations will be located at the Council Chambers in the Town of Slave Lake, 10 Main Street S.W 
In order to vote you must produce identificaiton for inspection. THe identification be be one or more of: VALID PHOTO IDENTIFICAITON ISSUED BY CANADIAN GOVERNMENT OR AGENCY, as required by section 53 of the Local Authorities Election Act or local Bylaw.

Call for Deputy Returning Officer 

The Town of Slave Lake is seeking Deputy Returning Officers (Polling Clerks) for the upcoming March 01, 2017 Municipal by-election 
The successful applicants must be willing to attend a half day Deputy Returning Officer Training Program, be able to work well with other individuals, and be willing to work late.  Previous election experience would be an asset.
