The volunteers and professionals that constitute the Protective Services sector in the Town of Slave Lake are second to none. Whether they are managing risk, responding to emergencies or managing recovery and renewal after a traumatic event or experience, we are very proud of our first-line responders and service providers.

  3. Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service

    The Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service protects, preserves, and restores public safety through programs and services of the Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service, 911, and Emergency Disaster Response Systems.

  4. Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

    The Town of Slave Lake works closely with the RCMP to keep abreast of the issues and concerns of our citizens, contributing to a safe community.

  5. Search & Rescue

    The Search and Rescue team is comprised of fire department members and a number of interested volunteers. The group meets regularly to train for various land, water or air search and rescue scenarios.

  6. Slave Lake Enforcement Services

    The Slave Lake Enforcement Services employs two full-time Peace Officers and two casual Animal Control Officers. All members are on staff to patrol the Town of Slave Lake.
